While your organization likely has a more specific definition of issues, an issue is generally defined as something that has occurred and needs active management to control the overall impact that it will have on the project.
The key to ensuring that an issue is resolved, is assigning it to a responsible individual and actively managing the issue for closure based on a due date.
To manage project issues:
Create new issue
- Ensure you have the appropriate project open in Project IQ.
- Click the Issues tab.
- Click +New Issue.
- Fill in the Name field.
Important: It is mandatory and it should be clear and concise to help users identify the issue in screens, reports, and dashboards. - Provide additional details in the remaining fields.
- Click Save and Close.
Update issues
- Ensure you have the appropriate project open in Project IQ.
- Click the Issues tab.
- Click on the Issue to be updated from the list.
- Update any field, as required.
- Click Save & Close.
