Benefits can be directly associated with delivery initiatives such the portfolios, programs and projects that deliver the goal results to the organization. You are able to define and track benefits across all levels of Sensei IQ.
Important: You can associate benefits directly to a goal and subsequently track the benefits realization at this level. Please refer to the Associating goals with benefits page if this is the approach your organization follows.
To associate benefits with goals and portfolios, programs, or projects:
Associate benefit with a goal
- Ensure you are in Strategy IQ and click Benefits in the Strategy section.
- Select and find the benefit you wish associate with a goal.
- Click on the appropriate benefit from the list.
- Click in the Name field for the Associated Strategic Goal.
- Search for and select the appropriate Goal.
Tip: If an association already exists and you want to change it, select the X to delete and repeat the above steps to select a new goal. - Click Save & Close.
Associate benefits with a portfolio, program, or project directly
- Ensure you are in Strategy IQ and click Benefits in the Strategy section.
- Select and find the benefit you wish associate with an initiative, i.e. a portfolio, program or project.
- Click on the appropriate benefit from the list.
- Click the down arrow in the header.
- Click in the appropriate search box for Portfolio, Program or Project to activate the search.
Tip: If an association already exists and you want to change it, select the X to delete and repeat the above steps to select a new initiative , i.e. a portfolio, program or project. - Click Save & Close.
