Welcome to Strategy IQ.
Strategy IQ provides an efficient way to set organization strategy using themes with clearly defined goals and proactively monitor progress through benefits realization tracking. And within Strategy IQ, you can easily link back to portfolios and programs.
- When you access Strategy IQ, the site map on the left has links to Insights, Themes and Benefits under the Strategy section.
Best practice: If you have more than one theme, is to only have a few at any given time. Having too many could impact the ability to deliver on any of them. - Once you have your Themes set, you can then capture the associated strategic goals for each. You can have multiple goals, and again, the guidance here is to have a manageable list of clearly defined goals.
- Goals are typically high-level statements measuring the achievement of specific organizational themes. When the goals are captured, you can measure the realization of each with benefits and associate them to portfolios, programs, or projects. Tracking benefit realization helps your leadership proactively monitor progress toward achieving all business objectives.
- Strategy Insights contains PowerBI reports that pull together all the strategy data in the system. Here you can see the themes and the related goals and benefits along with how each will be measured. You can also see what projects, programs, or portfolios they are associated with through filtering on the Benefits by Initiative visual and tooltips. This page provides a holistic view with the ability to drill into the details for easy analysis.
