Ideas can be associated with a business challenge to document alternative approaches to a specific business challenge. While ideas do not need to be associated with a business challenge, they can be associated with at most a single challenge.



To associate ideas with business challenges:

1. Ensure you are in Portfolio IQ and click Challenges in the Innovations section.
   
   
2. Select the appropriate Business Challenge to be updated.
   
   
3. Click the ellipsis (…) under the Contributed Ideas pane header.
   
   
4. Select Add Existing Idea.
   
   
5. Search for and add the appropriate Ideas.
   
   
6. Click Add and then Save and Close.
